New Couches!!

20 week appointment

So its been official.. we are having a girl!! like we didn't already know that right?? it is the Ballard Tradition to have a girl first! lol. (as sam would say, It takes a real man to knock the Ba**'s off..) haha.. sorry had to share some crude humor. Anyways My appointment was at 3 and we went ino the ultrasound room and we were waiting to be seen and this couple was in there with there other little girl about a year and 1/2 old and she stunk lik Poop! and then she had no shoes on just dirty socks, and a outfit that didn't match, then her blanket was gross! i mean It was suppose to be purple but i'm not sure it was! oh awful! and I looked at Sam and He already knew what I was going to say, is it awful that i'm already a picky MOM! gosh.. I know kids will have there bad day's it happens but seriously this was way OVERBOARD.

So we got to see the baby again on the ultrasound and she's really, really active the nurse had a hard time getting all of it done! She is healthy and were very blessed! I've been able to feel the baby now for the last 2 days its really nice... I can't wait to really start feeling it (wait a minute, I know i'm going to regret that) lol.. Sam has actually been able to feel it slightly laying on my belly lol.. He calls it my shelf... :( I don't know whether to take that as a good thing or a bad thing lol... I'm sure he loves it, for heaven sakes he loves touching it... hopefully these pictures turn out okay one of them is her hand, and the other is her Profile.. FAce! OMG she so has sam's nose! its so funny.. Cuz i called it, he thinks its changing i said no way its so his! lol...

Labor day Weekend!

So Sam and I were able to go up this weekend to the Cabin down south and hang with the family, we had tonz of fun!! just ask shanna we even loved the Short Shorts!! ~inside joke~ Now the guys, They may have had fun when they could sit down from the incredibly hot heat and take a break from working, supposably they weren't going to work but they worked there butts off this weekend doing tonz of insulation, and building a wall for the kids, the gas line, kitchen sink just lots of work the Heat was crazy at night too.. we barely had any breeze it sucked! but we did get to play on the wheelers and I got to shoot my gun FINALLY that i got for my birthday last year my 30-6 oh its so sweet!! love it!!

Sleeping with my pregnancy sucks! I have had the worst allergies ever! and nothing has worked on me at all... no nasal sprays, benedryl, sudafed pe, nothing! I'm so irritated and i"m so hot lately.. I know i'm not that far along but seriously its hot! Sam and I have decided to leave the AC off for the rest of year.. man its hard.. we have windows open but were not getting much breeze! however we do have a nice new fan in our front room, along with new couches! Our front room is starting to come together like we want the whole "cabin theme" so we just have a little bit more to go, maybe a fireplace, and a new railing.. lots of stuff to try to make it there so its official looking! thats pretty much it, Oh wait! now let me tell you I haven't had a kitchen sink nor a dishwasher for the last 2 weeks which is awful.. my dishes are so hard to hand wash when i have to go get water upstairs, then bring it downstairs PAIN! so looks like sam and I might be getting new counter tops because were going to have to rip our kitchen apart! great! not!! purchasing something we don't absolutely need right now before the baby sucks... gosh! hopefully its comes together... have a good one!

So its official Sam and I are having a girl We did do a gender check at 16 weeks but we go in this friday for my 20 for the gender for sure! i'm pretty certain its a girl! However I can't stop to think how much its going to take to be a MOM I mean that kid is now ours forever! It doesn't go anywhere with out us. its just crazy to think that i'm having a baby.. I can't even imagine right now of having a 2nd one.. I guess its just the nerves acting on me right?? hopefully... I sure hope I can handle it lol !! its just a ton of work!!

Just news!

So nothing new here much other then Sam and I pregnant! lol... thats exciting.. I Changed jobs at my work still at Comcast but changed my positions and I am loving it!! Its a lot of paper work i feel like I did when I used to Play "Pretend School with Shanna yet I feel like the teacher and I have to grade papers! gosh seriously I don't get how people can't figure out there job seriously its not hard! oh and I'm working now only from Monday-friday isnt that awesome? It is for me now I can maybe lay out with the girls this summer on saturdays which by the way I can't wait until this saturday for sure we KNow i'll be chubby but i'm sure going in the bikini this belly's gotta get some sun, However I hope not to over due it like somebody we know (shanna) who burned her stomach when she was pregnant with Kehlden!! haha.. anyways.. hope everybody is enjoying my blog and that I don't write about stupid stuff!! oh and Zoey is getting so big thats my puppy!! i'm going to post a picture!!

Big News! Read all about it!

So.. We know of course this isn't the Picture of My baby.. But, Sam and I are expecting In January My due date is January 30th 2009. I am 7 weeks along and I have about 266 days Wow its so crazy to think that I'm going to be a mom Its great also I get to go thru this with my best friend who I had lost touch with for a few years but Now were back to where we started 6yrs old and were both chatty kathy, doing fun things and Funny thing is... WE actually will be going thru Maternity leave same time she is due the 28th of January isn't that crazy! While both our husbands work together! at Lowes ... I can't believe it. We are both hoping for a boy Yay.. However I feel a little girl in there of course I won't be upset we all know i love the Hair and DRess up times!! Its great to because now i'll have all my darling nieces and Nephews who I love dearly to be so close to there cousin!! Its quite funny My neice Shantell (who by the way is 8yrs old) always everytime She see's me she ask me and rubs my belly and say's "breena.. hows the baby doing? and she's always right there to keep updated.. Just this week I told her I'm growing Hands and Feet with Ten fingers and Ten toes.!! i'm so excited to see how she is.. She of course is like my little girl.. However She can't wait to BABysiT!!
