Egh.. so the last two weeks roughly since Greydie has been home hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be of course...however, this breastfeeding crap is hard. I swear i'm still so confused on what to do.
1. do I let her feed off of me every 2 hours, or hour it seems cuz i swear she isn't getting enough to eat??
2. Do I pump every 2 hours and feed her then, or do I just give her a bottle??
Gosh, its defintely something i wasn't expecting to be so hard, if any of you mothers breastfed then I'm sure you wondered like me "Is she getting enough to eat" thats the tricky part I just don't know... So.. I've decided that i'll continue to pump however I am only getting like 2 ounces total from both sides. so i've decided i'll just pump out my milk and give her 1 ounce of breast milk and 1 and 1/2 of formula... she's doing good so far but thats pretty much it.. i'll update again soon!

It looks like your doing really good. Brease feeding is really hard. It takes a long time to get used to. She is really cute.
Hang in there and do what works for you best. No shame in WHATEVER you decide to do! :)
love,
the guilt free bottle-feeder *haha*
Breastfeeding is so hard...it doesn't matter if it's the first or 4th baby. Hang in there and just do what you can. It is so hard to stick with b/c it can be so frustrating. As long as she is having wet and poopy diapers then she is getting enough but I totally understand the worry! Hoping I will be able to breastfeed this one but who knows. Every child is different!
Oh Brie she is co cute and she definitely has your genes. And Breastfeeding is super HARD! At this point in the game I felt like one big boob. Just hang in there and continue to let her nurse from you as well because her sucking will stimulate naturally how much milk she really needs. I always fed first and then pumped out any extra. Congratulations!
